I am an assistant professor of Japanese linguistics at the University of Oregon. I study how people perceive speech sounds as well as how people learn to perceive new speech sounds.
Prior to joining the UO faculty, I was a post-doctoral research fellow with Dr. Lori Holt at Carnegie Mellon University.
